— Service · Website Maintenance
Keep your site running. Don't let it rot.
Websites need maintenance just like cars and houses. Daily backups, security updates, content tweaks, and a real person who picks up when something breaks. From $99/month.
— What's covered
What every plan covers.
Daily backups
Off-site backups every night. If something goes sideways, I can roll your site back to yesterday in under an hour.
Security monitoring
24/7 uptime monitoring. SSL certificate auto-renewal. Malware scanning. WordPress core/plugin updates if you're still on WP.
Content updates
Small content edits — text changes, photo swaps, hours updates, new blog posts — included up to 1 hour/month. Bigger changes quoted up front.
Performance tuning
Quarterly Lighthouse audit + image optimization + cache flushes. Sites get slower over time without maintenance; I keep yours fast.
Emergency response
Site down on a Saturday night? I get an alert, I respond. P0 issues addressed within 4 hours, including weekends.
A real person
Email me, call me, text me. You get a real human, not a help-desk ticket queue. I know your site because I built it.

— Common questions
Things people ask before we get started
Do I really need a maintenance plan?
If your site is on WordPress, yes — outdated plugins are the #1 way small business sites get hacked. If your site is custom-coded (like the ones I build), the plan is mostly about backups, security, and someone to call when something breaks. Either way, $99/month buys you peace of mind and a real person who knows your site.
What if I built my own site? Can you maintain it?
Sometimes. If it's WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or custom code, probably yes. If it's some unusual builder I've never seen, I'll take a look and tell you honestly. I won't take on a maintenance contract for a site I can't actually maintain.
What counts as a "content update"?
Text changes, photo swaps, hours updates, new blog posts, new staff member, swapping out a service description, updating prices. Anything that doesn't require new design work or new functionality. If something is bigger than a 30-minute edit, I quote it before I do it.
What if my site goes down?
I get an alert from UptimeRobot the moment it happens. I look at it. If it's something I can fix (most outages), I fix it. If it's the host, I escalate. Standard plan response is within 4 hours including weekends. Pro plan is 24/7.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime after the first 90 days. The plans aren't a long-term contract; they're month-to-month. If you decide you want to maintain the site yourself, I hand off everything and we shake hands.
Do you also do maintenance for sites you didn't build?
Yes, especially for clients who want to consolidate. I take over WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix sites all the time. I do a quick audit first to make sure I can actually maintain it cleanly; if there are big structural issues, I'll tell you up front.

I work with a few new businesses each month. If you've got a project in mind, send me a note. I'll get back within one business day.
